Chris Vomund grew up in Columbia, Missouri. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia. While in undergrad, he participated in a cross-country cycling trip, raising money and awareness for people with disabilities. It was on this trip that he first fell in love with Virginia.

Following college, Chris started a career in retail management and moved to Virginia in 2010. Over the course of the next two years, he built a reputation for his unique model of 3D Leadership: Differentiating the Customer Experience, Developing Team Members, and Delivering Profitable Business Results. He and his teams won multiple awards and recognition.

In 2012, Chris moved back to Missouri and became a third generation insurance professional, but he left his heart in Virginia. He returned to Virginia in 2018 to open his first State Farm Agency in Fredericksburg. He opened the Ashland office in 2023.

Chris and his wife Teresa live in Fredericksburg and enjoy traveling, food, and whiskey cocktails. You can find them on a patio with friends or watching the Missouri Tigers and St. Louis baseball.
